Download the Cashier APK
Tap the download button above on the cashier's Android phone. Chrome will save the file to your Downloads folder.

Open the downloaded file
Tap the notification, or open it from your Downloads app / file manager.

If Android blocks it — tap "Details" → "Install anyway"
You'll likely see a Play Protect warning that says "This app is not safe" or "Unsafe app blocked." Tap Details, then tap Install anyway. This warning appears for every app installed outside the Play Store — it isn't specific to MiniPOS.

Allow "install unknown apps" if asked
Some phones ask permission first. Tap Settings on the prompt, enable "Allow from this source" for Chrome, then go back and install.

Sign in with the cashier PIN
Create cashier PIN accounts in the Admin app, then sign in on the Cashier app and start selling.
⚠️ Why does Android warn me? (Cashier app only)

The Admin app installs from Google Play with no warnings at all. The Cashier app is still a direct download, and Android's Play Protect flags any app installed from outside the Play Store — regardless of what the app actually does.

The Cashier app is the last piece heading to Google Play. Once it's there it will install with zero warnings and this direct-download option will be retired.

🖨️ Printing receipts with RawBT
What RawBT does: MiniPOS sends the receipt to RawBT, and RawBT passes it to your thermal printer as plain printer text. The result is a sharp receipt in one tap, with no phone print dialog. It works in the MiniPOS app and the Cashier app.

Install RawBT
Tap Download RawBT above (or get it on Google Play) on the phone you print from, then install it. If Android warns about the file, tap Details then Install anyway.

Connect your printer inside RawBT
Switch the printer on, open RawBT once, allow the Bluetooth permission, pair your printer and make it the default printer.

Tell MiniPOS to use RawBT
In MiniPOS open Settings → Receipt Printer → Printer Settings, choose your paper width (58mm or 80mm), then tap Print method (RawBT) and set Method to RawBT.

Send a test print
Tap Send test print. If nothing prints, change the Link method option on the same screen and try again. After that, every receipt prints with one tap.

Get your reseller login
Message us on WhatsApp and we create your reseller account. You sign in on the web dashboard or the Reseller app and choose your own password.

Top up credits with EcoCash
$1 = 1 credit. Send the money by EcoCash, then enter the amount and the EcoCash transaction ID in your dashboard. We confirm the payment and your credits appear.

Add your customer
Enter their email (required) and WhatsApp number (optional). The customer signs up for MiniPOS with that same email. Their 30-day free trial starts as normal.

Activate and renew
Tap Activate and the credits are deducted at your discount. The customer gets 30 days. Renew before it runs out and the new month is added on top of the remaining days. Renew after it expires and the month starts from today.

Do I need to buy hardware to use MiniPOS? +
No. MiniPOS is a native Android app — no fiscal device, no receipt printer required, though printing is supported if you have one.
Which currencies does it support? +
You choose. Set the currency your shop uses (USD, ZiG or any other) and prices, totals and receipts follow it.
How much does it cost? +
MiniPOS is completely free for your first 30 days with full access to every feature. After that it is $5 USD per month, payable via EcoCash. No contracts — cancel anytime.
How do I install MiniPOS? +
Open MiniPOS on Google Play, tap Install, and register your store. For a counter PC, download the Windows app from the Install section. Cashier phones use the direct Cashier app download until it reaches Google Play.
Why does Android warn me when I install the Cashier app? +
Play Protect flags any app installed outside Google Play. Tap Details, then Install anyway. The Admin app has no warning because it comes from Google Play, and the Cashier app's warning disappears once it is listed there too.
When will the Cashier app be on Google Play? +
Soon. It is the last app still to be released. We will announce it here and on WhatsApp, and the direct download stays available until then.
Is there a desktop version? +
Yes. MiniPOS has a Windows desktop app you install with a standard .msi file. It is included in the same subscription. Android users should still install from Google Play first.
How do I print receipts from my phone? +
Install the RawBT helper app, pair your Bluetooth thermal printer inside it, then in MiniPOS go to Settings, Receipt Printer, Printer Settings and set the print method to RawBT. Tap Send test print to check it. RawBT is a separate app: download it from the Install section or from Google Play. Full steps.
Can customers pay online in my MiniPOS store? +
Yes. You can switch on EcoCash, PayPal, Paynow and cash on delivery for your online store, and set up only the ones you want. Online payments are charged in USD. Paid orders are marked PAID in your orders list and you confirm them as usual.
Can I resell MiniPOS? +
Yes. Our reseller program gives you 20% to 40% off the monthly price, depending on how many active customers you have. You buy credits with EcoCash ($1 = 1 credit), activate and renew your customers from a dashboard or the Reseller app, and get renewal alerts. See how it works.
Can multiple cashiers use it at the same time? +
Yes. You can create multiple cashier accounts, each with their own PIN. Cashiers log in independently on their devices and can process sales simultaneously.
Is my data safe? +
Yes. All data is synced to a secure cloud server and you can manually back up at any time. Even if you lose your phone, your inventory and sales history can be fully restored.
Does MiniPOS support ZIMRA fiscalisation? +
Yes. ZIMRA FDMS fiscalisation is live and included in your subscription at no extra cost. No physical fiscal device is needed. See the step-by-step guide.
What happens after my free trial? +
